Fusion: Nature

I received a lovely note from the Mistress of Hogwarts this week telling me that I had been accepted for training at Hogwarts.  So naturally I had to send a reply to tell her I was excited about joining the class!  If you are a Harry Potter fan you will remember the owl delivered hundreds of letters inviting him to Hogwarts.  So I included a few on my card along with the sorting hat that I am sure Headmistress Emma will recognize!  I am excited about my wizarding classes but a bit worried about walking through the brick wall at the train station.....

I used images from a Harry Potter themed set called Snapes Alive and took my inspiration from the Fusion challenge this week.  I followed the sketch and pulled colors from the inspiration photo!  What inspires you?  Join us at Fusion!

There is a brand new challenge called The Spot and it is starting with a Getting To Know You Challenge.  I am sure they would all like to know a soon-to-be wizard.....lol....

Stamp Set: Snapes Alive (Cat's Pajamas)
Ink: Memento Black, Copics, Distress Oxides
Paper: Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White, Classic Garage DSP
Stencil: Clouds (Newton's Nook)

As hard as I tried, I couldn't get through that brick wall on Platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross, Miss Emma!

  5. What a 'magic' card, anyone would be thrilled to receive it. I particularly love the colouring. I have been lucky enough to visit the Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour near London, it was an amazing experience seeing all the sets, models, costumes etc. Thank you for joining us on our first The Spot Challenge.
