Tropical Hello - FMS425

This summery, tropical card gives me hope that summer is not too far away.  But the picture shows what our mornings have actually looked like this week.......a bit foggy as our above freezing temps have started the snow melting process!  Not quite tropical but the battles over wearing a winter coat have already started!

Cecile's sketch is delightful this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Hope you join us!

Stamp Set: Label Me Bold, Tropical Chic
Ink: Real Red, Blushing Bride, Distress Oxides
Paper: Whisper White, Tropical Oasis DSP

I brushed Pine Needles, Lucky Clover and Scattered Straw Distress inks on white and then diecut the leaves from Wild Greeneryby MFT.  The flower stamp from Tropical Chic was inked using SU markers Real Red and Blushing Bride before stamping . I love that look of using markers -  it works best on rubber.

  6. Oh I love this tropical themed card Linda! The paper is just gorgeous and I love your flower and leaves! The snow is gone here (we actually didn't get a lot this winter) and so I battle every day with the boys to even wear a coat!
