Not a drop of ink anywhere on my card today - just die cuts and fancy paper! The Be Dazzling Specialty Paper is gorgeous and has a wonderful sparkle to it but no mater how hard I tried to get a good photo of it I couldn't make it happen. It just looks like a snake has shed its skin across the top of my card! Lucky for me the snake could spell....
Karren has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Hope you will join us!
Stamp Sets: Dies from Coming Home and Time of Giving (SU), Word Die from Hand Lettered Holiday (W plus 9)
Paper: Be Dazzling Specialty Paper, Peaceful Prints DSP, Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Whisper White
The dark Santa set makes this card pop. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHow cute!! Love the sparkly sentiment and the little sleigh is fantastic. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this!! I may have to cave in and get that set of dies!! And your sentiment looks FINE! Everyone knows the challenge of photographing that sparkly stuff!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun! Love the creative use of these dies to match the sketch. You are good...you are really, really good.
ReplyDeleteWhatever sparkle I can't see in the photo, I have no trouble imagining, Linda! LOve that dsp! Such a wonderful use of that Sketch!

Love how you used this santa! I'm so behind this year, only got about 1/2 of the cards I needed so far. And yes, that paper is so hard to photo, never seems to look good, but in person, just wow.
ReplyDeleteLove this silhouette! Sometimes no ink is needed, especially when you have all of this other wonderful stuff!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Christmas scene Linda.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card Linda! I love the background paper and santa's sleigh and reindeer! So perfect for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh this is so super-cute and such a clever take on the sketch! Fabulous card!
