Good friends are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next month so I took advantage of the perfect colors in our Fusion challenge to make their anniversary card. I confess I was there 50 years ago all dressed up in a bridesmaid dress....wow the years just fly! It was a wonderful wedding - we wore long home made dresses and flowers in our hair........ahhhh the early 70's!
I used the sketch and the photo for inspiration this week at Fusion! Hope you join us!
Die Sets: Hand Penned Petals (SU), Scripted Greetings (Pink Fresh)
Paper: Basic Black, Heart ad Home DSP, Bronze Foil
Just beautiful! Love the gold touches, perfect! :)

Beautiful! A total class act! I LOVE the mix of gold and black - and this card is full of shine and celebration.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and such a creative take on the sketch! Yes...I remember our wedding in 1975...homemade bridesmaid dresses in blue florals! What was I thinking?!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! So much texture in all of those elements combined! I'm disappointed to not see that bridesmaid photo too though!!
