Enjoy Today.....FMS622

I was in my craft room working on this card when I received a call that Will needed picking up from school.  I left my desk as it was and headed out.  He came back to my house to play for a while which meant that Auntie and Emma had to come over as well.  So pizza and wings for dinner it was!  After dinner the Big Guy headed to his recliner and Auntie and the kiddos headed to my craft room to make Valentines while I walked the dog.  Emma showed him the snippet bowl that she can pick from and they went to work. A sparkly blue piece of paper next to the bowl immediately caught his eye!

When I got back he showed me the first card he made for a special friend- he was so proud of it!  And then I thought......wait a minute that sparkly paper was for MY card!  And yes that was the last piece of sparkly blue in my craft room! I do hope that young lady likes her card!

Have fun with Jen Mitchell's great sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

  1. Oopsie! I'm sure that she will love her sparkly card. :) And your beach card looks great with the non-sparkly background. Love the fun beach scene!

  6. I just love this card! It's giving me all the warm summer feels! Love how the kids love to be in your craft room. They're so cute even when they're stealing the last piece of sparky blue.

  7. Whoever gets to the sparkly blue paper wins! I think your card is pretty awesome - no sparkly paper required! Love the beachy scene!
