GenerationX

I am actually a Baby Boomer and not GenerationX  but I was delighted to be invited to join the X Design Team for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!  The Challenges are Bi-Weekly and a different game board is posted for each one.  So many options with this challenge!  I look forward to working with this talented group of designers!

I may have also been inspired by this wonderful photo a friend of mine took from her back deck.  She lives on a hilltop overlooking Ithaca, NY. (You can see the buildings of Cornell University on the opposite hill.)  She has a wonderful view that often includes hot air balloons launched just below her property!

I chose the diagonal route from Enamel Dots through the Die Cut and on to Dry Embossing.  Hope you join us!

Stamps; Hot Air Balloon (SU!), English Rooftops (Purple Onion)
Paper: Lemon Lolly, Moody Mauve
Ink: Azure Afternoon, Crumb Cake, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Memento Black

  2. Linda, we loved our visit to Cornell's Lab of Ornithology a few years back - loved Ithaca but didn't see any hot air balloons! Maybe next time? [and I won't come back without seeing YOU!]
With cute paper balloons like this who needs the hot air? So darling with your embossed clouds!
Congratulations on your new team assignment!

  3. Congrats on your new DT gig, Linda! Your debut card is wonderful. Love the balloons and pink cityscape! Hot air balloons flew over our house often when I was a teenager. Scared out poor little dog to death!
