So Elegant - PPA118

Pals Paper Arts has a beautiful color challenge this week!  I love all of these neutrals - they are so classy!  But these lovely colors present another challenge - how to photograph them well!  I struggle with pictures when using white - or in this case Very Vanilla (with a bit of Soft Suede spritzing on it).  The white background takes a blue tinge and the Vanilla just isn't rich and creamy like it is in real life.  I do use daylight bulbs and a light tent but if anyone has any other helpful hints I'm listening..................

First, let me say this is LOVELY! What an elegant card! Second, I have a little trouble with vanilla, but RED is my worst! I think this looks fine to me!! Just wonderful!

Linda this is gorgeous...Love the verbiage tucked behind the dress form and ruffled ribbon edge is so 'fitting'. Love it.
PS: I DO understand how much prettier things are in real life, but I am no photographer by any means. I have no light tent, and struggle and to glare out of almost every shot I take! But no worries, your's is beautiful. Hugs.

Hi Linda! I know what you mean about struggling to photograph whites and creams. I think you did a fantastic job though. Your card is GORGEOUS! I love all of the beautiful details you added, especially that ribbon. So pretty! :)

Linda, I love this elegant card. The soft neutrals are so lovely and the gathered ribbon is fantastic. I think your photograph looks great and I can relate to the difficulty in capturing the correct colors with the camera. Oy!

While I understand how uploaded photos may not look quite like the card looks IRL, I find your card just fabulous as I see it!! Love the pleated ribbon, the texture from the twine, and the background depth added by the spritzing. Absolutely gorgeous!

I feel your pain with the ordeal of capturing all the beauty a card has to offer in just one picture! But no worries here, it looks amazing. Love everything about it!

Gorgeous card Linda! Love the ruffled ribbon treatment and all the spritzing and distressed edges. Your DSP choice is stunning! Lovely card, my friend!

Super elegant, and right up my alley. ;) I can't help with the lighting situation, as my own often goes berserk on me for no apparent reason. Same lights, same background, different results. Hmph!

This is gorgeous Linda. Your ruffled ribbon is FANTASTIC!! And I feel your pain about photographing certain colors. I have trouble with whites and vanilla as well. I use a light tent and my cards always look well lighted to my eye, but the camera always seems to have different ideas!
