I remember when........PPA111

I loved using Domestic Goddess DSP when I put this card together for PPA's sketch challenge.  It is wonderfully retro and makes me think about life at home way back when.  Reminds me of that "I'm so old" game.  Some of you  must have played that game a time or two!  I'll start:  I'm so old I remember catching the squished clothes and shaking them out to hang after my mother put them through the wringer of the wash machine!  Your turn..........

Love the colors of your card and the little clothespins ... cute! I remember my grandmother's kitchen table with metal legs, chairs with plastic seats and a tablecloth that looks like your DSP.

Linda, you have a wonderful writing flair! I always enjoy your comments with the cards! And this card is nothing short of CUTE... Just LOVE your use of the clothespins.

I am so old that I remember my grandparents having an out house. Also remember when air conditioning in vehicles were an after thought and LEAKED onto the floorboard. :)

Linda this is ADORABLE! I just got those clothespins but haven't use them yet! Speaking of clothespins....
I'm so old I remember putting the clothes pins in the hanging cloth sack that hung on the line...AND my mom hung the laundry outside until the snow flew... so taking down the "frozen" wash was always embarrassing to me! Hugs.

Linda, this card is so cute and you're right, it does remind me of "I'm so old"...so here goes. I'm so old that I remember being able to walk to the gas station, bring 50 cents, and buy a half gallon of milk from the milk machine. And, riding the Chicago bus lines for 50 cents and they had the old "electric" lines (street cars). Oh... to be young again (I'm 61).

Nostalgic card, for sure! I'm so old I remember party lines on our phone and daily only 4 numbers to reach someone! AND on those good old bakelite black phones!

Another Linda Callahan favorite! I love your style, friend! This is just too fun! Love the clothespins! I'm so old I remember the filling station attendants running to the car as soon as my mother pulled the car into the station and up to the pump! They cleaned the windshield, checked the tires, checked the oil and water, filled up the tank, took the money, brought back the change, and did it all with a smile, a thank you, and a "Come back again!" as we pulled away! You just can't get service like that anymore!

So so cute Linda, love the clothespins...I remember when we used a rotary phone! A few years ago my kids asked me "how does this phone work" when visiting my parents who still have one!

Linda, this card is sooooooo cute, I just love it and your use of the darling clothespins. I'm so old I too remember the wash hanging on the line and the clothespins in a little hanging bag (as well as ironing sheets and pillow cases)! Guess what (Diane too) I still have my mother's last clothespin bag as a keepsake. Also... I'm so old I remember inviting all our friends in to watch black and white TV in the afternoon after school!

Oh I love this Linda! Fantastic job highlighting this wonderful DSP and that ribbon treatment with the clothespin is FAB! I don't think I can beat the clothespin memory but...I'm so old, I remember wearing leg warmers to school...the FIRST time they were popular! LOL!

Linda, how do you do it? Every time, you do something really cool and fun, with yet another product I didn't think I "needed". That ribbon treatment rocks! Speaking of...I'm so old, I remember rocking out to my mom's Beatles and Bee Gee's albums on an LP . Thankfully I still have my smooth dance moves...well, at least I think I do. Haha! :)

Linda, Great card. I had to laugh when I read all the comments. I am so old I remember all those things that everyone said. Ann remembered Howdy Doody. I remember taking my son to be on that show! I also remember when the TV had a test pattern on it! The programs only ran certain hours not all day!
