Freshly Made Sketch #5

Gold embossed flowers from Faith in Nature add a touch of glam to this Freshly Made Sketch.  A doily from the Flirtatious DSP makes a beautiful frame.  And  I'm amazed how two strong colors like Pumpkin Pie and Night of Navy complement each other.  But that's just what good friends do..........

Linda what a great card. I love the color combo.. not sure why, but it reminds of me of football colors ??? Where'd that come from? I like the medallion and the ribbon treatment is FAB! LOVE the antique brad to top it off! Hugs
PS:I LOVE that stamp set too, have it, but haven't even opened it yet. OH man... I'm sooooo behind lately.

Absolutely gorgeous, Linda! Those two strong colors work because of the fabulous white space! Of course, the ribbon is the crowning glory!

Linda, this is gorgeous! You know, I never envisioned the Flirtatious paper with any other color combo before. (Maybe I'm lazy, lol!) But the orange and the blue together look awesome. Don't know why I wouldn't have paired them as they were my college colors? Yikes! The doily and the ruffled ribbon give it such an elegant charm, too. Thanks so much for letting me play along with you lovely ladies this week! Big hugs! :)

Orange and blue are the colors of my nephew's alma mater, University of Virginia so I may be biased when I say they look fabulous together. Of course, your fabulous ribbon treatment tipped the scales for me! This is so lovely!
