Summer Friends - FMS36

Early summer weather here has put me in the mood for Summer Smooches Designer Paper and some Bright Blossoms.  (Gotta love these new bright graphic designs!)   Early summer weather also means we've already been able to spend time at the lake with the summer people!  It's fun to reconnect every year with our warm weather friends.  And only in the summer does there seem to be time to play Scrabble on the porch in the middle of the afternoon or to sit and chat by the fire in the evening.  Hmm maybe that's because I have turned the cooking over to the grillmaster.............I think he's cooking.........

Tui designed a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

This is beautiful, Linda! I love the cheery paper and colorful buttons you used to accent the squares. That photo of the BBQ almost made me think I could smell the BBQ grill all the way down here! LOL

A perfect summer card! And I think that I can smell that barbecue from here. I hope this means that you won't be cooking all summer long!

Linda, I enjoyed how you used the sketch, with the additions of the buttons. So cute!
Also enjoyed the BBQ photo -- what a fun memory to have captured.
Cheers, Karen

Great card with those pretty blue buttons! If I lived closer, I'd be over to play scrabble on the porch with you - I LOVE that game! Looks like the chef has some serious grillin' equipment, and I'm betting it tastes great too :) There's just something about men & grills that's a perfect match!

linda love the card and I love the smooches suite too. I'm not sure why we take time to "sit and enjoy" more in the summer??? Hmmm maybe that cold beer works to slow us down... or put out the fire if needed! I know we keep ours close at hand too. Bar-B-Q Safety 101

Happy Memoriable Day! hugs

What a happy card! Great way to use the new goodies! And yes, I think he's cooking, it's just all that heat and smoke makes a guy thirsty, you know?!
