You Had Me at Hello - FMS91

When the new Stampin' Up! catalog arrives each year it takes me days to finalize my first order.  In case you have trouble deciding what to order I thought I'd let you in on my scientific decision making process.  Smoky Slate cardstock and ink had to be ordered - it's a wonderful new color that matches the paint in my kitchen.  The Secret Garden stamp set and matching framelits were bundled together at a reduced price - how could I pass up that deal?  The sweet new buttons reminded me of records - ah yes a trip down memory lane - added to the list for sure!  And candy dots????  How can anyone not buy something so sweet?  Then there is that designer paper - Polka Dot Parade is so happy you can almost hear it laughing.  Eastern Elegance - just the opposite but oh so majestic - and yet they look terrific hanging out together!  But the really tough decisions have to be made when it comes to actual stamp sets.  The message on my card comes from a set of four sentiments called Four You. I took one look at it and well..........it had me at hello..........

I love your thought process...as well as the results! I have to admit that I did not think about the buttons looking like LPs, but now that you say it, I am sure that thought will pop into my mind each time I see one! CUTE and sunny creation!

Now that's a great way to sift through the catalog and decide what's made the top of the list. I like your sunny twist on one of my favorite floral stamp sets. The candy dots make them sweet indeed!

So much goodness on one card. I have a friend that keeps inventory and I picked up the candy dots today and a pack of the new CS today. She was out of the Smokey Slate or I would have that too!!!

You always crack me up, Linda! I wasn't sure about the new buttons, but now I'll just call them records and love them as I continue to try to forgive my mom for giving away my record collection...

Very cheery card. I need to get that sentiment set soon! It's on my list!

Thanks for your kind comment on my first FMS post. Love the wild-flower bouquet on your card. I know what you mean about the first order from a new catalogue. I'm with Close to My Heart and ours comes out in 10 days! But who's counting?
