A plaid panel took center stage on my card yesterday and there was still a snippet or two of it hanging around my desk. I just couldn't bear to toss those scraps. I turned one into a banner and stamped hello right over the design. A smattering of embossing paste and a sprinkle of gold sequins give this card a totally different look from yesterday's design. This card is the perfect way to say hello to spring here in the northeast. Notice there are no flowers on it.......just a lot of white stuff in the background!
Meanwhile it looks like my muse is making a break for it........probably headed south!
Pals Paper Arts has a sweet sketch this week!

Most definitely headed south. How adorable (both the card and the kiddo). Love your March Plaidness!
I'll be watching for her arrival down here! Love how you used your leftovers. The sentiment stamped on top is perfect and that embossing gel is awesome!
Love this, Linda! The plaid is fab, and your stenciling job is fantastic.
Love both crass and the technique. What did you use for a stencil for the embossing paste? Any plans to do a video on the plaid technique? ;-)
Should have said "Love both CARDS! Lol
Very cool, both of the cards are very cute. Love that you made your own plaid. Love it!
I love the effect of the embossing paste! Fantastic card!
There's your awesome plaid print again! Love it, Linda!!
I just love your plaid, Linda. You've inspired me to try this technique, which I originally thought would be too time-consuming. If I find time between packing this weekend, I'm gonna give it a go! And your muse looks just as adorable from the back :)
I too used leftovers from another project for my PPA card this week! Love the plaid and the embossing paste - and the cute photo of your muse on the run!
Linda you are so darn clever! I thought that was DSP before I read it and was going to ask what package is it was from! So clever! Love it....
Love the little south bound rascal too.
PS: Just getting off a week vacation with the grandkids. I'm Whipped! Had to return to work to rest! hugs.
Love. Love. Love! You are so fabulous. Now about that little muse on the run…. ;-)
