The watercolor wash background really came to life on this card with a bokeh effect. Using a sponge dauber and circle stencils I applied white craft ink randomly across the watercolored panel. I loved the finished effect so I kept the stamping very simple and using just black ink with a few scattered sequins for sparkle.
Someone I know doesn't need any sequins to sparkle.....Miss Emma donned movie star sunglasses to take a ride in her new red wagon..........Hello Dahling!
I adore Jen Brum's sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Hope you join us~

What a GREAT card and super cute pic:)
Your watercolor background is beautiful and your black outline stamp is the perfect accent.
Simply gogeous…dahling! :)
Linda love your creative mind! The twirls of twine are becoming a favorite of mine, and I count YOU as the signature stamper for this effect. hugs.
PS: Love the little darlhing too!
This watercolor background looks so good, Linda. The colors you've used go so well together! Don't hang up your paintbrush just yet!
I love this bokeh technique so much I want to use it all the time! It looks great with your sentiment flag and the little bit of floss!
So pretty Linda! Love the beautiful background that you created! Thanks for the inspiration!
Fabulous! The background is beautiful - and the light lines of the border and thread are just perfect with it all.
This card is so amazing Linda! I love that banner and the twine! The watercolour background is so beautiful! Love Emma's glasses! She looks so cool in her wagon!

This is so beautiful Linda! Which colors did you use for your background wash? It is so lovely. :)
I am totally loving this watercolour wash background - the colours you've used are so soft and lovely together.
I'm sorry to say that you haven't really broken up with watercoloring. Maybe just a little break from each other and you'll be back. Because this is really great! And I love little miss spectacular in her wagon!
Girl, you have mastered the Bokeh technique! This is amazing! I don't know if I'd have wanted to add anything to cover up the base piece, but again, you've mastered perfect placement and using the right tools and accessories. Love how you used the stamp for the bottom panel to let the background show through. Simply stunning!
Theis turned out great, Linda. That Bokeh is so fun to do and makes for a stunning effect.
I hope Emma doesn't get obsessed with sunglasses like Laila is. She's napped in hers quite a bit. lol
