On The Road Again........FMS186

1970.......it was green......with a big yellow flower on the back.....my first VW Beetle. I was in love! I learned how to shift, steer and scrape ice that formed on the inside of the windshield without missing a beat. That green bug was followed by a blue one and then a silver one.  I thought there was nothing that could separate me from my beetle.........until I had to wrestle a baby and a carseat in the back seat........

Jen Brum has a delightful sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

CUTE!!! I almost learned to drive a stick in a Beetle too....never quite got the hang of it until many, many years later! I am sure my ex cringed as a stalled and ground the gears, LOL! This is just adorable and I love the movement you've got going!

Love this cute card, Linda, especially the eyelet holes. That's a mighty big obstacle hose cars are having to climb over!

I love your card!!! It just made me smile - I learned to drive my first stick in a little Honda 37 years ago in Pittsburgh. Those hills were killers! Thanks for inspiring me!!!

Awesome! I agree with everyone - what a cute card and my second car was a green standard Beetle. What a fun card!

Cute, cute, cute! I love the large piercing on your panels and the fun colors. I can totally believe that carseats and Beetles don't mix.

Linda this is adorable! Love this card.
So funny! My girlfriend had beetle all through high school ... '66'-'69... we had so much fun in that thing..and when my sister got married a few years later, her & hubby each had one - green & blue - with half the HEART "Just Married" side by side.

This card is adorable and of course I have to add attribute to my beetle. In 1973, it was bright yellow. During it's long lifespan it got hit on 3 out of 4 sides. My husband swears its because I picked a color that looked like a target.

Love the card! Didn't have a beetle but had a VW Fastback for a while. Would love to do a Beetle (or more) charging down a hill or a road for a friend who loved hers, but haven't been able to get a silhouette one like yours. The only one I could see only shipped to the U.S. and Canada, not to Australia. Where did you get yours please?
