Hitting the Wall.......FMS192

The good news is that my kitchen is almost done - just painting and crown molding to do.  And my mother's apartment is almost completely packed, sorted and ready for the movers.  Notice I'm saying almost......there was no work to be done today because I hit the wall yesterday and needed a break! That must have been on my mind when I made this card because I used the new brick wall embossing folder - such a cool effect! A beautiful flower from Bountiful Blooms and words from Tin of Cards look terrific on my wall! If you're going to hit the wall it might as well be a pretty one!

Oh that talented Jen Mitchell has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Hope you join us!

This is a lovely wall and a lovely card! The little peek of dsp is perfect with it. I'm glad to hear your kitchen and mom's apartment are coming along well. I hope you have a vacation planned soon, as you deserve one.

Such a clever idea Linda I love the way your sentiment fits perfectly in the bricks of the wall and the edge of dsp is just enough. Glad you are taking a break - can't keep going like we use to and having the ensue to take a break is smart. Good luck packing up Mom.

Love this! And I hesitated on this set…you've moved it up on the list again. No one would mind running into this wall! :)

I'm glad you took a break - you deserve it! I hope things get back to normal for you very soon. In the meantime, you certainly haven't lost your stamping mojo - this is so gorgeous. The brick wall is a perfect backdrop for that beautiful flower.

Linda I just love this card... in fact it's another I want to CASE. I can't wait to get the brick wall embossing folder, but I swore I'm not spending another dime until 3rd quarter! hugs.

PS: I feel sorry for you with so much going on I've been there ..done that and hitting the wall comes much faster now as my age increases..... Shhhh did I say that! hugs

The end is near.....for the kitchen project, that is. So glad to hear that things are winding down.

I love how the bricks on your wall are somewhat oversized - so they could double for cinder blocks! And that puts me in mind of those cool loft apartments with all the exposed brick and building blocks and architectural details. And your card is the uber cool artwork on the walls of that apartment! Nice!

What a wonderful use of the brick!! I had managed to keep it off my wishlist (since I have two other brick folders), but I love that the size is just perfect for what you have done with the sentiment.
