My card style is definitely CAS but I have decided Clean and Simple is a total misnomer! I have never ever completed a card on my first attempt - this was attempt number four! The photo below shows the progression of my work. Panel #1 has a red smudge courtesy of my pinky. Panel #2 was a total disaster as I dropped my stamp while peeling it off the Misti lid. And then there is panel #3 that has the teeniest navy smudge due to a spot on the magnet holding it in place. Ahh yes white space is fabulous but shows every tiny smudge!
I think I've made a CAP card.....Clean and Persnickety!
I excited to be hosting this week at Freshly Made Sketches! I do hope you play along! Have fun with my sketch - I will be around to check out the gallery!

Linda I love this card.... makes me want to send something Priority Mail!
I never would have guessed that you never made something first try. in fact... just the opposite.
your stories make me feel like you just.... "don't have time to mess around so I'll just throw this fantastic card together and get on living life and enjoying family"......
I am not OCD at all (like my two Nance/Nancy pals) and usually just flip it over or cover it up! Hugs
Ha! Yep, those panels do look a bit familiar...only mine usually happen when I am attaching the very last layer together. I do sometimes have to get a little creative with the embellishments! ;) Your 4th attempt turned out beautifully!!
Well, in the end, it's perfect and adorable!! I did this during a class this week. :( Just go to plan "B", is my motto!
Stunning Card Linda... love it...
You have used this stamp set beautifully! Sorry about the "test" pieces :)
I love your CAP style! It's totally relatable. And I love this card. The black and white stripes and pops of red are perfect with the clean white space on this fun card.
Omg, is there a smudge curse gong around? No white for me this weekend!
I just so appreciate your interpretation of the sketch this week-- you made it your own!

I hear you about the white space--haha! I really like your sketch, Linda, & your card was worth all the effort!
I think all my cards are actually CAP. I love that you showed the progression. It makes the rest of us feel normal for sure!! Thanks for a great sketch this week! Oh, and of course I adore this card....like to didn't know that for sure.
I knew you would nail your sketch (I always struggle with mine!) - your card is totally amazing Linda!
Super sweet card!
Haha - I like the CAP description. This is why I can't do CAS - white space and I are like oil and water... all I have to do is look sideways at it and a smudge magically appears! Regardless of the process, one thing is for sure: your card is awwwwwwwdorable!
So good to know I am not the only one who gets it right at take number... 4 or 5!
It looks fabulous in the end Linda! Thanks goodness for second chances !
You are so brave to show us all the bloopers! It seems like smudges and bad embossing were the norms this week. Good thing everything worked out in the end! That's a perfect card for people who like to fly!
I love this card Linda! That little paper airplane is just too cute! Love the clouds and the sentiment too! Glad you took some pictures of the "imperfect" ones!!! It seems like we all had issues this week!!!! Hope the weather is improving there! We have had a beautiful weekend so far!
This card is awesome, Linda, as it should be considering your persnicketiness! I love the little heart and the way you colored the sentiment. So many great details, and I love anything in red, white and blue.
Hear, hear - glad it's not just me that has these mishaps! Love the final card!
What a cute card, Linda. We must have lots of company in the "oopsie" department. Enjoy your day!
