A Night Out.......FMS250

Even though I made a Halloween card this week we are still enjoying summer around here.  We went to a Toby Keith concert over the weekend and the fun started as soon as we parked the car.  Right in front of us was a young guy leaning against his car with his arm around his girlfriend, sipping a beer and just enjoying the warm summer night.  Then out of nowhere a white haired old lady shows up screaming "Oh my God you have my name on your car!  And it's a Cadillac - I learned to drive in my mother's old Caddy!  What a coincidence!  I have to take a picture - do you mind if I take a picture?  Are you Dutch?"

The poor guy was speechless and mumbled something like......sure sure go ahead ...... and the girfriend just pulled out her phone and started texting......can't imagine what she was saying?!?!

So here's the picture of the old lady who was delighted to see her last name on a license plate!  I know I have been Linda Callahan for over 40 years but in my mind I am always still Linda Bierman from Tribes Hill, NY.......

Cecile our wonderful guest designer from France has a terrific sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches.  I enjoyed using two new SU sets - Halloween Scares and Spooky Fun (with framelits).

What an amazing coincidence and a great story! His GF was likely posting something about this on her Facebook page LOL
Fabulous Halloween card and great peeks at these new Stampin' Up products (which hauntingly just made it onto my Wish List) :-)

How funny!. That is truly a coincidence Linda. And at first I thought you meant some other gray-haired lady and not you. That's too cute. I love your card. I've been playing along with quite a few things from there holiday catalog, and I haven't posted yet but I will because I made a really cool Halloween card as well. Your posts always make me laugh. You are a beautiful lady. Have a great day.

Love your card and your license plate. I had to laugh when you said you had always been Linda Bierman. I know what you mean. On your card I love the wood backdrop for your Halloween house. So cute and clever. Have a great day!

Cute and just a little scary -- the card, not your story (although your story is cute too)! Love this, Linda!

Ha, I came over to say how cute your card is... and I get the backstory on the caddy pic. I didn't know you were Dutch.... my DH is from the Netherlands. Fun times at SPAC!!

Ha,ha ! you're such a story teller !!! I'm always stunned by how even your fantastic cards tell us a story ...This one brings me so many smiles with the cute haunted house and the gorgeous DSP . I love the way you turned the angled panel of the sketch into a scene . It's so clever !
