Fusion - Paris Rain

Well my days are getting brighter!  The sun came out yesterday but due to fact that the big guy is still up in the mountains I was totally snowed in.

Gee whiz that meant a whole 'nother day in my craft room eating emergency rations!

But the big guy is very resourceful. Even while riding a chairlift 200 miles away he managed to contact a snowplow guy to come plow me out.  The dogs are very happy now to walk down the block again instead of stepping off the porch into the one tiny citcle I kept shoveling every two hours.   So we survived the Blizzard of 2017......brighter days ahead!

I love that Fusion offers both a sketch and a photo for inspiration! I used both on my card today.  I used an image from Beautiful You and added the skyline from Calling All Heroes.

Beautiful card! The black background with the bright colors on your pretty lady are perfect! And that snow looks beautiful from my warm and snow-free house down south! Glad it's up there and so glad to hear that you have appropriate emergency rations to make it through the blizzard of 2017. ;)

Wow, wow, Linda ! How could I not be totally in love with your card! As a Parisian, the challenge theme makes me happy and I'm even happier with the way you interpreted it . A gorgeous image so true to Parisian spirit . I just want to mention that we have no rain at the moment, our days are bright and sunny ... ;-) ;-) ;-)

Linda, you've created a stunning translation of the photo with your skyline and trendy Parisian woman. Striking! Glad to know you're safe and warm despite the weather where you are! Staying in and crafting makes perfect sense to me! Snowing here, too..wildly!

I love reading through your blog posts. They have so much personality! I laughed out loud at the emergency rations and I must admit I'm fairly jealous. Speaking of things I love... your atsy sketchy design stole my heart! Gorgeous make!

Thanks everyone! Marjorie - I used the stamp sets Beautiful You, Calling All Heroes and Weather Together. The DSP is from Carried Away and the girl's dress and umbrella are done with Copic Markers.

I didn't see this card before Linda. That red later just makes the card pop! Love the red on her dress as well, ties it all together.
