Setting the Scene....FMS343

I thought I would showcase some more of Stampin' Up!'s new colors today.  These colors just pop - so bright and summery!  And that bright yellow bench is the perfect spot to meet up with a friend to chat.  But if you are waiting on your own it's good to have reading material
nearby........

Jen Timko's terrific sketch was perfect for creating my scene........as opposed to creating a scene which I do try so hard not to do ;0)  Join us at Freshly Made Sketches!

Stamps:  Sitting Pretty, You  (SSS), Newton Loves Coffee (NN)
Ink:  Blueberry Bushel, Pineapple Punch, Granite Gray, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove
Paper:  Basic Gray, Whisper White
Brick Embossing Folder (SU)

Your scene is delightful....as is your little Allure-reader! She (and Cassidy) is getting SO big and grown-up! Now, about those scenes...I can't do scenes for the life of me, I might just have to use some pretty paper and a biiiiiig sentiment!!! TFS!

What a cute card! Love the fun colors and the "scene" that you've created. As for the little missy...most definitely good that she had some reading material close by for the wait. ;)

My husband and I shared our first kiss on a bench like this!
So absolutely darling, Linda! But you not creating a scene? I don't believe it for a moment - always a fun one, though!

I have to admit to not being a fan of the new colors; however, I think you just convinced me that there really is a place for them. Your card is so perfect, grounded with the Granite Gray brick and all of the pops of color.

Linda, this is just so perfect! It looks like your card was meant to be when the sketch was created! Now, lets see if I can do anywhere near as well.
