Ouch! FMS401

I love the cute images in this set (On Your Feet) for get well cards!  But it looks like my poor sloth will be a while before he is on his feet again.  Since he is a sloth he probably won't mind!  I googled to find out what color a sloth was since I was imagining a gray/brown color.  I learned that sloths are brown but because they hardly move green algae grows on their fur and the result is that funny gray/brown/greenish color....ewwwww....

I promptly decided if this guy was going to be front and center on my card he was going to be power washed.....so you are seeing a freshly bathed sloth - perfect for a freshly made sketch!

I love Cecile's delightful sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

Stamp Sets: Animal Outing, Waterfront,  Back On Your Feet

LOL I'll have that vision repeating throughout the day, Linda! I'd bet he'd love a good power-washing! Ouch is right!

Wow - I didn't know that about the algae! We just lost the sloth at our zoo in Omaha. He had been there for over 15 years, and died of old age. It was always fun to see him close up (open air jungle). I love that little set, and you colored him beautifully!

LOL, power washed and dried. I sympathize with Ms Sloth as I am wearing a boot on the same leg, broken ankles are no fun. Love your card.

LOL, thanks for the science lesson regarding sloths...who knew?! Well, in the stamping world, you can make your sloth any color you want!! And he's a cutie for sure!

I think sloths are so cute. But that was before I knew they were covered in algae. That's so weird! But I love this card! That DSP in the background is perfect and you've colored that fellow beautifully with the colors that we know he is under all the algae! LOL!

Indeed, Linda, your poor sloth doesn't seem to get well at all. Nonetheless, I totally love your take on the sketch, this little guy is so cute and makes me smile.
