A quick and easy card today thanks to that great DSP backdrop! This card is headed to a friend who recently retired. Retirement isn't all tropical islands and sunshine but it sure is nice to be able to kick back and relax when you want to!
My favorite part of retirement is not having that alarm go off at 6 AM every morning!
A sweet sketch from Jen Timko this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Hope you join us!
Stamps Sets: Fun Begins (FSJ), Loads of Happy (Avery Elle)
Paper: Thougthful Journey DSP
Ink: Memento Black

That's awesome Linda! Looks like the perfect little spot to relax. :)
Now how did you make those cool waves? SO fun - but there isn't much room for crafty supplies on that island!

I would hang out there for a little while, looks relaxing! I'm with Michele, what cool waves! This is fun, Linda!
Such a gorgeous card, Linda! I love that you let the DSP do a lot of the work, but the trees and hammock are a perfect scene. Who wouldn't want to be there?! I know someone who recently retired...
What a PERFECT retirement card and such a clever take on the sketch! Beautiful!
This is such a fabulous card! I love that background!!! So creative! Your friend is going to love it!
I could use a pink sunset about now! Love those little ocean waves.
This is wonderful and such a great take on the sketch! I'm so looking forward to retirement...
Perfect retirement card! There's everything we could wish for ... (and perfectly done, BTW)
