Margaret Moody's designed a terrific layout for Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge this week. Her layouts are very versatile and easy to dress up or dress down. I opted for the dress down look since my card is for a guy. Some new Sweet Pea Designer Paper along with some "old" Chocolate Chip ribbon and my card came together. I didn't want the card to be real flowery so I added striped paper and used brads instead of the scalloped edge to give the card a masculine feel. Head on over to PPA and play along - dress that design up or dress it down..........there's blog candy this week :)

I'll give you a pass on the chocolate since 1. I didn't notice it until I read the description, 2. its almost V-Day, and 3. because you used so many other new and wonderful colors. Very daffodilly. :) Rest the leg; make more cards and be grateful Paula hasn't left for India yet.
Love your card, Linda, especially the way the ribbon works so beautifully with the striped DSP. Terrific!
Stop it already! You are killing me with these jaw-dropping cards! LOL Linda, your cards are always wonderful. I especially love this one! Super job, Pal!
This would make a fabulous card for a guy. Love how you used the striped ribbon and the brads at the end. Great card using that sketch. I want to use it as well, but the Olympics are taking up my extra time LOL!
