Elementary my dear Silke......

How do you combine Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade to make a Christmas Card?  With lots of white space!  Silke Ledlow, the absolute master of white space, is guest designer this week at Pals Paper Arts.    So I tried to create like Silke this week and discovered something you all probably know by now - I couldn't!  My card still came out looking like me.  Yep this card has elementary school teacher written all over it - primary colors, ducks in a row, sit up straight perfect!  Amazing how what we create is such a personal reflection..........and that's what I loved about teaching those little ones......no two "creations" were ever the same.......

Perfect! That's all I am going to say, except for "stunning". Wait...I also want to say that this is classy and elegant. OK, I'm done. NO wait...let me add that looking like it was done by an elementary teacher is a good thing. I always envied the elementary teachers' bulletin boards...you should have seen mine...Arghh! In closing...I LOVE it!

Hi Linda,
I just LOVE your card this week. When I looked through the DT samples, yours jumped out at me! It is clean and beautiful. I know what you mean about school and all the ducks in a row. I love that in my classroom too! LOL! Thank you for your kind comment on my blog, you are wonderful.

Linda what stamp did you use on the card I copied 11/25/10 orange flowers, green background, yellow ribbon and two words friend and hello. Looks like a touch of So Safferin cardstock behind the white. Love it, those c
olors are so beautiful!! Barbara spanky34@insightbb.com
