Buttoned Up Pocket - Paper Players #87

This baby shower invitation was designed to match the decor of the new arrival's nursery. It's a Winnie the Pooh theme so Pooh floating along with his balloons was the perfect image for the invite.  Pooh looks right at home with Nursery Nest DSP, thin taffeta ribbon and sweet little buttons.  The pocket style card worked perfectly to tuck in the invite and registry cards.  I found the pocket design here on Ann Clemmer's blog and changed it up using a baby theme.  And since the invite is CAS with buttons it also works perfectly for this week's Paper Player's challenge!

This is absolutely adorable! So many lovely touches (buttons, pearls, frame, wow!) Love the use of the die to cut the diagonal pocket - so much prettier than a straight cut!

Oh my goodness!! Such cuteness your baby shower invite is! I am love, love, loving this idea with Pooh holding the balloons like he's about ready to "lift off". So, so sweet! And the addition of the Baja Breeze and Blushing Bride designer buttons is perfect!! Such a great card for The Paper Players button challenge...thanks for sharing!

Hello, Winnie the Pooh! He was my fave when I was a kid. I still have my stuffed Winnie from Sears, bought when I was little. :)

What a neat pocket card! Love the fun balloons, the frame for WTP, and the polka dots.
