It's Not Easy Being Green! FMS 25

Time for the annual green St. Patrick's Day card.  Poor old Garden Green just sits in his folder all year long and waits for March.  I never use him - he just doesn't seem to play well with others. Wild Wasabi is dashing and Lucky Limeade is so hip!  Always Artichoke has such elegance and Certainly Celery is all sweetness. Old Olive is just the reliable workhorse of the greens.  So once a year Mr. Garden Green gets his very own card - no fuss, no frills - just green!  Funny thing is that in real life I have never met a Wasabi and I don't like artichokes, celery, limes or olives..........but I adore garden greens............

Hope you join us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

Just love your comments, Linda! You are so right about him not playing well with others, LOL! I do sometimes bring him out at Christmas! You certainly make him shine with this card!!!!

Your card is beautiful: I agree with you about garden green. I've been trying to use it up with the Merry Monday challenges.

You are too funny! I think you have underestimated Mr Garden Green...he probably gets along better with others than you think! I do like him featured for St Pat's but he can do Christmas occasionally! I cannot believe you don't like olives, celery or limes!!!!!

You write so well, with such wit, Linda! And you are gracious allowing Garden Green out to play all by himself at this time of year. ;) I like Garden Green a lot, so he has a fan in me. LOL

Poor Garden Green to be relegated to St. Patrick's Day duty only. You do him justice with with your card, though. I hope you're enjoying your trip!

I love your description of the greens. So true! I use Garden Green for some school things because it is the school color but that is about it. Just great here! Great sketch!
