I am a tea drinker - never a coffee drinker. So I thought this new SU! set A Nice Cuppa was tea-riffic as soon as I saw it! You have to commit to drink tea - no grab it and run allowed. It takes time to steep properly. Then there's that mucking about with the tea bag (as my coffee drinking mother says) Decisions need to be made concerning lemon, sugar, cream and what to do with that tea bag when it is out of the cup. (Don't get me started on tea made in the microwave or with a Keurig!) And we tea drinkers definitely prefer real cups as opposed to the cardboard ones. I hope you take the time to brew up what ever your preference is this morning and check out our DT cards at Pals Paper Arts......there has been some changes since we saw you last!
Pals Paper Arts has a fresh new look for the 2016! Our group has been divided into a sketch team and a color team. We will now alternate between a sketch challenge and a color challenge with no off weeks so you have lots of chances to play along! Hope you join in this week with this tea-rific sketch by Mary Fish!

Beautiful card! And you sound like you are as serious about your tea as I am. I tried drinking coffee for about 2 weeks once when I was a lot younger but just didn't like it. But I sure do drink a lot of tea!
A perfect "cuppa," Linda! Sweet spattered background mixed with the dots!
Love it! Great color scheme and fantastic design. I'm with you on the tea thing...except that I prefer mine iced. Coffee is just plain nasty!! :)
There's always time for tea, messy or not! I love the colors together and those little enamel accents are perfect but my favorite thing is the spoon handle sticking out of the cup. You can't drink tea without something to stir it with!
Hi Linda! Sweet card; it would be a nice one for inviting a friend over for tea or for any time! :)
long p.s.: Within the last six months or so I've made the switch from coffee to tea and I whole-heartedly agree with your sentiments. There is nothing NOTHING like a fresh cup of tea. (And EW! to paper cups! lol) I've recently become very spoiled because my hubby has been traveling to England and brings different teas to try. I now have two favorites: a specific English Breakfast in the morning, Ginger-Lemon afternoon/evening. Yup - spolied!
First, I would have picked the sketch team, too! :) I love your card and your little narrative, especially the mucking around. Our parents just did not muck around with anything, especially their coffee or tea! My aunt and your mom would have probably been the best of friends. Tea couldn't be served in a coffee mug, it had to be served in her fine china. I never got the hang of it, especially on exactly how long to steep, but she did teach me to like it with milk, not cream. Give me a cup of Keurig coffee any day! Anyway, love the lavender and yellow, and the perfectly placed enamel dots! Reminds me of a spring morning at my aunt's.
Darling card Linda and I am still chuckling over your comments regarding a "proper" cup of tea. I rather enjoy a culpa ,self!
Peeking in at my lunch hour and see this perfect tea card for my friend... however, I can't remember if that's DSP or you stamped the background????
Either way it's TEA...riffic!
Hugs.
I'll drink to that, Linda! Thanks for sharing proper tea-drinking etiquette and your lovely card!
What a perfect card for any tea drinker! I love the color choices. I happened to brew the perfect cup this morning using the tea Brady's girl friend brought back from England. It certainly beats Lipton. lol
I love your tea cup and tea talk! I am a tea drinker and hate Keurig tea! Often people offer it to me and I usually refuse. Don't even get me started on decaf!!!! I totally love the spoon and little bag on your card! Too cute!
Its lovely Linda! Your creations are always works of art.
So Cute! This is a heart-WARMING card!
LOVE this card Linda!! Just so comforting!! Off to have some tea myself now!! LOL!!
