Happy mail arrived this week - a brand new set of Tim Holtz' Distress Oxide Inks and I have just started to play with them. I used the inspiration photo to choose the colors to sponge on white paper (Bristol Smooth) and then spritzed with water. I didn't mess with it too much because I loved how vibrant the colors were. I stamped the flowers from Number Of Years in Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum and Flirty Flamingo and added a sentiment from Avant-Garden.
I am hoping our snow is gone by Easter because I am so ready for spring weather! But if spring is delayed we may just have a few getaway days planned in Cocoa Beach!
Karren has some great inspiration for us again this week at Fusion! Hope you play along!

Beautiful! Such a pretty floral image and that background is amazing! I haven't ventured into those inks yet....I am afraid if I do, my pocketbook will be in big trouble! I hope you get rid of that snow too!!!
Oh, so pretty! I love those colors across your background panel. Perfect CAS card! And I'm not sure if I should hope that spring arrives soon for you or hope that it doesn't because a little trip to Cocoa Beach sounds pretty nice! ;)
WOW! This is stunning! I just bought these inks and played a little. What colors did you use here? This is so pretty.
Oooh those distress oxides look fabulous! I got my set last weekend and haven't had a chance to open them yet. Hoping to have a go later on this evening. Gorgeous card and such beautiful colors.
Oooohhhhh! Your Distress Oxides panel is absolutely lovely; a perfect canvas to accompany your pretty panel of posies! I have four of these new inks awaiting my attention; hoping to give them a play over the weekend!

I'm so jealous that you've got some of those inks. They are definitely on my wish list! They are so vibrant on your card!
I have heard so much about these new inks, but have yet to try them myself.
Love the colours and your card is so pretty.
I too am over this winter weather and am looking forward to some warmth.
That is a gorgeous strip of color!! And I love the simple image you put with it!
This is beautiful, Linda! Such a sweet image you've used for the focal point. And that cheerful strip of colors is great to showcase the flowers.
Hmmm, I need to come to Albany again soon to visit you and your new inks. ;-) This is really wonderful!
