My mother returns home next week from her winter stay in Florida. It is definitely time to get her Mother's Day card made as things get busy around here the first week or two in May getting her settled back into her apartment. I used the flowers from Reason to Smile - appropriate I thought as her return is a reason to smile. But once the card came together I started smiling for another reason - those flowers reminded me of singing Muppets! I had to restrain myself from adding sunglasses and a nose to the coral topped flower.............Mahna Mahna............

As usual, this is wonderful, Linda Callahan! It will definitely make your mother smile!
Muppets aside, this card has got an awful lot of interesting things going on. I see lots of patterned paper hexagons, some twine, wee flowers, little rhinestones, vellum(?), twine, embossed texture and lots of gorgeous colors. I wish I could combine all that with similar stunning results!

Gaaaaaaahhhhh!!! I LOVE the Muppets and this band guy is beyond fun. I'm going to be singing that song all day now LOL! Great take on the insp. The flowers are gorgeous. Manamana Dooot dooo doooo dooot do
