Summer is in full swing here and the flowers are blooming! My peonies have faded but the hydrangeas are budding. And someone I know has her own little house with a beautiful window box abloom!
A neighbor was going to junk this little house but Emma's mom and the Big Guy rescued it. Here's the BG last fall dragging it into place. When Emma outgrows this sweet house it will become the garden shed!
My oh so talented friend Nance Leedy has a wonderful color challenge for us this week at the Paper Players!
I used Sunshine Greetings and Blooms & Bliss DSP to create my card following the fun sketch at Cas(e) this Sketch! A bit of embossing paste adds a stone wall texture to the lower panels.

What an awesome card and what an awesome find on the playhouse! It looks fantastic all fixed up...I'm sure that the little missy will love tending to her window gardens and hanging out on her deck. ;)
Oh, what a pretty card! Great take on the sketch!
And how fun that your daughter got this play house -- my daughter would have loved something like that when she was younger...
I love the card, especially the embossing paste strip for great texture, but my comments today are reserved for the playhouse - what a great job you did on fixing this up, it's beautiful! My daughter thinks it looks awesome and I'm sure Emma will have hours of fun playing in it!
Love your color challenge card... so cool how you used the 'swish' to fill the flower petals...
speaking of cool... what an adorable little house for Emma! How cute is that! hugs.
Linda I love your pretty card but that little playhouse steals the show! I can't believe it was on its way to the dump. When Emma outgrows it, couldn't it be a craft cottage?!
Love your flowers made with a sribble and a swoosh! Such a great feel to them especially combined with the texture of the embossing paste. Emma's house is darling!!
What a fun way to use this sketch....I ran the other way when I saw it, couldn't come up with a thing at all, LOL! And what a great rescue...I can't believe someone would "toss" a playhouse! GOOD SAVE!
Linda, this is such a fun card! I love that textured strip and those whimsical flowers!
The little house is perfect! What a great craft room it could become if you don't want it for a garden shed. Glad the BG rescued it! XX
Cute CAS card, Linda. I like the swoosh of color for "coloring" the flowers. Very creative use of the CAS(E) sketch too. Love it!
Linda, I love the bold and graphic shapes - they really highlight the colors. the embossing paste strip was genius. I need to copy that!
Fabulous card
