Grafitti.........FMS247

I love the new DSP Serene Scenery but I never seem to know what to do with it.......until my crafty friend LeAnne Pugliese posted about how to use such paper....and I quote:

I am loving the papers in the Serene Scenery tablet, but sometimes they can be a bit challenging!  I have found that stamping a big honkin' sentiment right on the paper works great!

So I decided to put a big honkin' flower with leaves and a sentiment right on my fence panel just as if someone came along and added some grafitti to it!  LeAnne's quote just made me smile and for some reason this card does too!

Shannon's wonderful sketch has endless possibilities at Freshly Made Sketches this week! I used images from Garden in Bloom, Pun Intended and a sentiment from Sentiment Sampler by Paper Smooches......and of course a sheet of DSP from Serene Scenery!

Yay, Linda! I signed back up for your emails some time ago and I finally received my first one. Great card! Love that DSP pack too. Now that you have tried it, I am certain you'll be using it much more often. And, I can't wait to see how you do use it!! :)

Great tip! I will have to try it as I never know what to do with this paper either...I always use the flip side :) I love how you popped the flower up and then stamped the leaves right onto the DSP. It looks awesome!! And that sentiment is too cute!!

Hooray for big honkin' sentiments! And can I just say that DSP looks absolutely like you stuck down an actual wooden background. It's so realistic! And I'd like to meet the sensitive, thoughtful graffiti artist who adds a sweet heart to his art!

That paper is gorgeous and so realistic I was expecting to see a miss in your stamping where it went over the gap between the boards :) Fab card, Linda!

Oh look at that fabulous texture you've given your background and the colour you've used makes it look like real woodgrain! And the honking flower is the perfect addition!
