It's a cool Memorial Day morning here.....perfect for having a cuppa and remembering those who served. My dad was in the Air Force stationed at an airfield in Southern England throughout WWII. He is buried in the cemetery of the small village where I grew up. So many of his friends and fellow members of the Greatest Generation rest there with him. It is amazing - and humbling - to see all of the American flags there to honor veterans.
Miss E enjoyed this morning's parade!
I linked my card up to the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - always a fun event!
My card was inspired by the wonderful sketch at Cas(e) this Sketch!
Stamp Sets: Varied Vases (SU), Merry Cafe (SU), Newton Loves Coffee (Newton's Nook), City Streets (Sunny Studio)

Super fun take on the sketch, love your fabulous design.
Such a beautifully designed card. And thanks so much to your dad for his service and to your family for your sacrifices...
I love it. Such a wonderful design and I really like the elegant simplicity of it.
Linda...I think you're on a "white space" roll. Although I peek everyday I was having issues leaving a comment. I absolutely love the last few cards and they all have the 'white space' going on... So nice, and so CAS. Love them all! Hugs
Love your card and your post!
So simple and so cheerful! I love the sparkly yellow backdrop and the perfect little spots of color. Simply eye-catching. Thanks for the share and inspiration.
