Just a simple, bright and happy card for you today.  I am not a pink fan but I love Polished Pink!  It livens up the place don't you think?

There's a lot happening on this card but somehow it works for me.  I love the sweet bird and I love that floral DSP - together they make a great team and a sweet note card!

There has been a lot happening in my world these past few months as well.  I am happy to report that my Bell's Palsy has resolved but I had a reaction to the steroids I had to take.  It has taken a while for my system to readjust to "normal".  There has been a lot of napping!  I am doing much better but have decided to take a break through the summer.  So I am stepping back from FMS until fall.  I'll be popping in with a card now and then so I won't be completely gone!  Our summers are too short here in upstate New York so the plan is to kick back and enjoy the next few months!

Nothing like some brightly colored chicks to cheer you up!  But if there are no chickens running around your house a bouncy noisy pup and a granddaughter will do the trick as well!

I turned the circles into colorful chicks....just because they made me smile!

Fusion: At The Movies

 

I love to go to the movies but I confess I haven't been to the movies since the pandemic started!  (I also confess I have watched a lot of Netflix and Amazon Prime instead.)  So I pulled out this delightful image of kittens at the movies for this week's Fusion challenge. The tickets rolling across the bottom are from an ancient Stampin' Up! Stampin' Around Wheel that I cut off the wheel ages ago and flattened out to use as a regular stamp.

Our local theater reopened not too long ago and I am thinking my first trip back may be to see the new Top Gun movie - it seems like only yesterday I saw the original Top Gun movie!

Hello Summer! Our local greenhouses are finally open for the season and I actually have some real flowers on my back porch now!  The summer furniture came out of the basement as well and has joined the flowers on the porch.  The Big Guy finally put away the snow blower and tuned up the riding mower.  Now if he would just get that boat out of the driveway and into the lake.....

A little splash of blue anchors my simple flower and sentiment.  I stayed pretty true to the sketch and added an embossed background for interest.
