The Stamp Review Crew is featuring the Dry Brush Background stamp today. I used Halloween colors to create an eerie background complete with bats and a flying witch. The tree from Life Is Beautiful worked perfectly to anchor the scene. Halloween will be here before you know it and it is important to pick out just the right pumpkin!
If you missed Nikki's terrific work head back there......
Otherwise head onward to see Betty's delightful creations!
Hand Stamped Sentiments is having a Halloween Challenge this week.

Sweet card! Love the little witch broom tail flying away. Perfect way to use that background stamp! Yep, Halloween is all about picking out the perfect pumpkin...hope that she found a good one. We just got ours too!
When I first saw your card, I assumed you'd created that background by swiping the inkpad across the card, but it's a stamp? So very cool and clever!
Linda this is AWESOME! I love it and you gave me a great idea for my October daily too! Picking the right pumpkin is very important. My husband took me pumpkin shopping the other day he just didn't understand you can't just grab and go. haha
I love this card - I really enjoy using the Dry Brush background stamp and am surprised you don't see more of it - you've really made it the star of the show in this lovely card - thanks for sharing with us at HSS this week.

A perfect background to give the feeling of Halloween. Emma is getting so big. Thanks for sharing her journey!
LOVE this fun project Linda! Your colours are so vibrant and such a lovely use of Drybrush...loving the little witch off on her broomstick, so cute!
What a fun background Halloween - and how wonderful with that witch off the edge!

Love how you used the Drybrush stamp. I would have never taken a look at this stamp but your use of colors and technique made me look it up. Such wonderful color and so clever of you to show just the edge of the witch. Thanks for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
Love the background. This is a new technique to me so I will be trying it out. That witch hanging off the end of the card is a great touch. Thanks for playing along with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
