Holiday Jingle - FMS104

I confess I love jingle bells - from the big sleigh bells to the teeny trinkets on this card.  I also love holiday traditions - especially ones that I make up myself. One such tradition involves holiday decor. When a holiday is over I pack up everything in one fell swoop.  If something escapes my eye during that time it has earned the right to stay out for a whole 'nother year till the holiday comes around again. Right now there is a wooden pilgrim sitting on my bedroom bookshelf.  He has had a much better year hanging out with me instead of being wrapped in tissue paper and packed away. But I won't forget where he is this year! I also confess there is a Christmas votive on an end table in my living room. And what does all this have to do with jingle bells?  Well one year I forgot to put away a cluster of bells I had hung on a cupboard in the kitchen.  Such fun to hear them jingle every time I opened that door!  So I conveniently forgot them the following year and the year after that. Finally this summer the string broke and my husband gleefully threw them away. Oh I am on the lookout for new jingle bells to hang somewhere this holiday season......somewhere that will be very easy to forget........

Love that big banner on Linda's sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

Jingle bells, jingle bells! I'll have that tune on my head all day now! This is cute, Linda. I love how you strung those bells across the card. I still have a small stash of these too!

Great tradition Linda! Hmm... I'm pretty sure I have a few Christmas decorations that failed to find their way back into storage too. ;-) I love your card, especially the extra little jingle you added!

Linda you are too funny! I love your way of dealing with those pesky "I forgot" items.
Love your card too... and the DSP is great. It creates an optical illusion to me!

I have a similar tradition. Several years ago I "forgot" to take the Christmas greenery down from on top of the kitchen cabinets. I'd have to get out a ladder and rather than go through all that bother decided to leave it there. What can I say? It looks nice! Your card is nice too. I like the Christmas in green and that DSP is making me quite dizzy!

I love the cute jingle bells on your card! And I love your little tradition. I had a ring of bells that hung from a pretty red ribbon around the door knob on our back door, and I honestly did forget to put it away with the other Christmas decorations one year. However, my little one loved the bells, so they stayed for several more months.

Love this card Linda! The jingle bells are fabulous! Love that sentiment!!! I must say if I find something Christmassy left out it gets shoved in the storage room...that being said many things get left in there at the holidays because I forget where I've shoved them!!!
