"Snow way I have allergies!" I sniffled to the doctor last month when she prescribed allergy meds for a slight cough.
"Snow way I have bronchitis!" I coughed to the doctor two weeks ago when she ordered a chest X-Ray.......which came back negative.
"Snow way I have asthma!" I wheezed to the doctor last week when she prescribed a nebulizer for my low oxygen level!
"Snow way I have pneumonia!" I gasped to the doctor a few days ago when she ordered a CT scan.
"Pneumonia it is!" said the doctor when she called with the results.
Snow way I am leaving this chair for a while!
I have never had pneumonia and hope I never get it again.....but if you have any words of advice for me I am listening!
My talented friend Karren Johnson has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches. I used my favorite holiday colors of Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake with an added bit Basic Gray to update the look. The embossed snowflakes are from Flurry of Wishes and the sentiment from Snow Place.

I love your snow way story, and I love this card! Such beautiful layering of these snowflakes. Glad you are doing better. <3
Oh Linda nooo!! That is horrible stuff I get it all the time. Drink lots of fluid and gets lots of rest it's nothing to mess around with. I did love your snow away story that was cute :)
Looks like a comfy chair to recuperate in...hope you are feeling better. Love this card with all the perfect details. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Oh no, I hope you feel better soon. It looks like you have a comfy chair by a cozy fire to recouperate. Happy Thanksgiving!
First things first: GORGEOUS CREATION!!! SEcond: honey, lemon, whiskey - combined in a jar... use your judgment as to the proportions =] =] A big spoonful every now and again - my Mum's recipe! As a kid, we lined up for this elixir in Winter!
Feel better, and take really good care of yourself!

Fluids (like the one above) and rest... lots of both! Hoping Thanksgiving is not at your house!
Love your card and especially the zigzag details. Already pinned!
Happy Thanksgiving, Linda! Enjoy the rest!!
There's snow way you're sitting in that chair for long! LOL Hope you feel better! I'm blaming your Atlanta trip, but 'tis the season for sure!
Try this: Cayenne pepper helps the body release mucus from the respiratory tract, which makes it easier for the patient to breathe. Fill a jug with 250ml of water, add 1 tsp of lemon juice and sprinkle a little cayenne pepper. Drink the water, at least, 4 to 5 times every day.
Or this: Turmeric is the best known medical herb. It works as an anti-fungal, antiseptic, anti-viral as well as anti-bacterial treatment. Turmeric is an extremely powerful herb which can cure pneumonia easily. Mix a teaspoon of turmeric with a glass of warm milk or water, and add a pinch of salt. Drink this every day before going to bed at night. If you opt for milk, do not drink water for minimum half an hour. Warm some water and blend ¼ teaspoon of black pepper powder and 1½ teaspoon of turmeric. Have this once a day till you recover.
Love this card and the color scheme! You do great work. ❤️ Your blog!
Beautiful card Linda! Love those snowflakes and the colors are perfect. Snow way, I can't believe that you hand pneumonia!! Feel better soon!

This is really pretty!
I'm a fellow stamper who makes blank general and thank you pet themed handmade cards and donates them to animal shelters and rescue groups. I've just started a new blog, Sending Paw Prints, for this purpose. I love your cards and am hoping if you have a stash of pet themed cards or are interested in making some you'll think of donating them to Sending Paw Prints.

Dear Linda, I'm so sorry that you're sick, but you were still able to make this beautiful card. As usual, I'm impressed.
This is a gorgeous card, Linda and your story was great - shame it wasn't fiction though :) You've got lots of advice here which seems to be along the same lines - rest and fluids. I hope you get to enjoy your Thanksgiving.
Snow way I wasn't going to love this card! My favorite color combo for Christmas cards combined with my favorite wintery precipitation! Ha! I'm glad you were able to enjoy thanksgiving dinner!
Oh no--so sorry to hear pneumonia got you! Can't always be found the first day or so, but not sure why it took all those docs that long to figure it out! Anyway--take it easy & hope you're soon feeling back to your old self! I've had my shot & will soon get the new one for us older folks, so hopefully it won't get me! Your card is an absolute beauty--immediately caught my eye with the gorgeous color combo & snowflakes & the silver trim!
I cannot believe you came up with this lovely card while dealing with pneumonia!!
Wow!! This card is STUNNING!! I love how you used the snowflakes on this!! I also hope that you feel better. Take care of yourself and rest!!!
Wow Linda! I'm totally in love with those gorgeous snowflakes! Love the elegant color palette too! Actually I love everything about your card! Hope you feel better now!
I hope you're feeling better, Linda. All I know about pneumonia is that it takes a lot longer to get over it than I expected. It hasn't affected your mojo! This card is lovely; I love the Cherry Cobbler/Crumb Cake combination.
Oh wow! I just adore your card and totally love your sentiment - it made me smile!
