Set Sail! FMS530

This sweet sailboat set arrived just in time for this week's sketch!  And it perfectly paired up with gorgeous DSP that just arrived as well.  I feel like I have been just sailing through these past two weeks.......just walking the dog and taking it easy. Staying as stress free as possible!  I am tapering off the prednisone this week and then we will see how the next step of recovery goes - so far so good......my case of Bell's remains mild!

I have never ever taken a course of prednisone before in all of my years - and I am sure many of you have - but let me tell you I have been an eating machine!  Holy Mackerel that stuff makes you hungry!

So there are cookies in the oven, a pot of tea is brewing and my book awaits!  This week I am reading Anderson Cooper's book Vanderbilt: The Rise and Fall of an American Dynasty - sounds lofty but reads like a soap opera - what a story!

I always love Jen Mitchell's square designs!  Play along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

Wow, Linda, this card is wonderful! I really love how you cut the DSP for the sketch. I had to comment about steroids - I have called them my miracle drug since I have had to take them off and on practically my whole adult life. Luckily, they never make me hungry but I can't sleep at all - drives me crazy. Hope your illness is behind you soon. Glad that it hasn't affected your great creativity. Stay safe!

That gorgeous background adds such a "WOW" impact to this sweet card! And I love how you used vellum for the strip with the sentiment. I hope your recovery is quick and complete! Enjoy those cookies!

I love everything about this card. It is super special.
I've taken Prednisone several times -- mostly for poison ivy which I am
extremely allergic to. It doesn't really make me hungry, but my daughter had shingles and was on Pred and she ate us out of house and home! She's a tiny little thing, but she really packed on some pounds during her recovery.
Hope you get well soon and keep making those gorgeous cards.

Love this card Linda! That paper is perfect for it! I was staring at that paper the other day wondering how to use it!!! Love that sentiment too! Glad you're able to wean off the prednisone. That is some nasty stuff! Hope you're feeling back to your normal self very soon!

I just ordered that paper - it's gorgeous - but I didn't order the sailboat and your card is making me regret that decision!

I hope your Bell's is showing signs of going away. It can't be fun at all. Delightful card, though - that patterned paper is gorgeous!
