A Flowery Hello! FMS 591

My crafting time has been reduced the past two months while I had my cataract surgeries but I am happy to report I am almost to the finish line.  All those pesky eye drops are done and I get fitted for my new glasses today!  But I have taken the time to clean out and reorganize my craft room - not a job for the faint of heart!  I have sold stuff, donated stuff, and - gasp - thrown away stuff!  Then came the reorganizing.  I even managed to get rid of one cabinet and a small table!  I am not a fan of clutter - I need breathing room.

There is one big job left - my stencils are in total disarray and need to be organized and put away.  So while I was gathering sets I decided that I would use one for this week's sketch. A flowery three layer set from Gina K made this card come together quickly. Now off to shop Amazon for a fat notebook!.....unless any of you have a better idea on storing stencils.....

Jen Brum has a fun sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Hope you join us!

Stamps: A Little Hello (Gina K)
Paper: Rococco Rose, Basic White

Such a pretty card! Love the colors. No ideas for how to store your stencils, but glad that you found a pretty set to use! :)

What a darling stenciled pattern this is, Linda! and that hello - HELLO gorgeous!
I found two one-inch three-ringed binders worked a charm for my stencils organized by company, but you might have more than I do?
Oh man, I could have used this Sketch for my bird!

Love this sketch interpretation, Linda! It seems I could always see a need to reorganize and purge...it's all part of the Joy...right?! I'm also interested in an effective way to store stencils. Glad you eyes are returning to normal.

This card is so pretty! I just love those flowers! I'm not sure I'm patient or coordinated enough to use these multilayer stencils! I only a couple of stencils and they are all sitting in a box!

So glad your eyes are returning to normal following your surgery Linda - and bravo on the reorganising! If you fancy a trip across the pond, I could do with a willing helper to sort my craft room - a sort-out is long overdue! No tips on stencil storage I'm afraid as I don't have many, but I wanted to say how much I love this card! The stencilled panel is so fresh and cheery and that diecut sentiment is a perfect fit. Just beautiful!

This layered stencil background is fabulous and works so well with that scripty hello! As for storing stencils, I recently changed from having them in individual stamp pockets to putting them in clear pockets inside ring binders (big lever arch folders - not sure if that's what you call them). Works so much better than the individual pockets. I have 3 big binders full of stencils so needed something that would work well for a big quantity.

I just love those big flowers and stems you stenciled onto this card, and that big welcoming HELLO is just perfect for this design! Congrats on getting your craft room organized and best wishes with your journey to healthy eye sight too!
