Happy Halloween!

In keeping with the Halloween spirit I played around and created something fun for Carrie Gaskin's KaPow Challenge this afternoon. We already had Trick or Treat Night in our neighborhood over the weekend - during a snowstorm actually!  My dog kept barking at all of our visitors and I had to pick her up to keep her quiet.  So I handed out treats with a poodle under one arm and a basket of candy in the other. Doesn't everyone?  I opened the door at one point to Dora the Explorer and Snow White.  Dora asked me why I didn't put my dog down and I answered:  "She barks too much but she stops when I pick her up - and I don't know why that is."  To which Snow White replied:  "I know........she likes loooooove......" Wishing you lots of treats and loooooooove on Halloween..................

Aww - love the "she likes loooooove" line! Lexi's the same way with people who come to the door so we find it best to leave the lights off on Halloween night (not that we get a lot of visitors anyway since the kids are either too young or too old. LOL)

What a fantastic card, love the distressing you did and those headstones.

I love all the detail you added to this card! It is so much fun to look at because I keep finding interesting textures... The fence, bat, tombstones, etc. Great card, Linda!

We had trick or treat last night. No little ones this year, but about two dozen teenagers. I will need to send the leftover candy to Bill's office to prevent temptation! I sent my two dog children to the bat cave (Bill's TV room), along with Bill. It was so much quieter that way! :-)

Oh my gosh...what a hoot! The Twins loved watching from the window. I finally brought Muffy out to schmooze with the goblins! Such an adorable card! Great distressing!

Your card is full of great detail. Those Tombstones are the best, sitting just right in front of the moon lite with the bat in the middle of it all. Love your
Dora story!

Awww, what a cute story! I think your blog header changed while I was 'out of it'. I like it! Very fitting, of course, for your blog title.

Love those little headstones!
