Congrats! FMS17

My  neighbor was just appointed City Court Judge.  I followed the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and used that wonderful typewriter to send official congrats!  Shortly after he and his family moved in across the street, his wife and two little ones came over for a chat.  After a while we heard him call "Dinner!" I asked if it was a special night since John was cooking.  His wife answered "Oh he cooks every night.  He thinks I did all the work having the children so he feels the least he can do is feed them!"  He is going to be a fine judge - I like the way that guy thinks!

Wow, I like the way that new judge thinks, too! My hubby *is* the cook in our family, but it's more because he's better at it and enjoys it (though weeknights, not so much).

Great card to congratulate this wonderful man!

What a perfect card for him! He does sound just like the perfect choice for a judge, I must say. Love your colors on this!

The typewriter and my colors? I might have to go steal this one from the judge! :) Having a husband who cooks is wonderful; I love being a bit spoiled by that myself.

Haha! What a wonderful man! My honey cooks and his dad cooks all the time! Love it! Your card is really awesome Linda, I love the double layered square and the flagged sentiment. This is indeed perfect for the Judge.
Hugs,
Lesley

Absolutely top-notch Linda...love everything about it! The colors, the titled panel the banner, the little staple and that fabulous typewriter! I wouldn't be surprised if this had a prominent place in chambers for years to come...

Sounds like a smart judge to me! If you can hear him call "Dinner" from across the street, does that mean you and your family are invited too? I'd certainly find out! Love this card! Guess this set will have to go on the wish list too!
