Pool Party is the New Black....FMS18

That Pool Party is the life of the party wherever it goes!  It arrived last July and made a big splash looking cool in the summer designs. Then it showed up on fall cards looking gorgeous with rusty browns, yellows and oranges.  Next it made a fabulous appearance for the holiday season in wintry scenes and Christmas greetings.  It's a new year and look who's still around!  Pool Party has gone vintage and is a featured color in two new sets of designer series paper, Attic Boutique and Everyday Enchantment (pictured above).  I like a clean, crisp look and somehow that vintage Pool Party adapted beautifully.  Pool Party is definitely the new black......

Jump in the pool this week at Freshly Made Sketches and play along!

Hi Linda! Oh, this is SO pretty! Even though it has a vintage feel to it, your card is very fresh looking. I never thought about PP as the new black and I have to agree with you. ; )

Wow! Love your take on this challenge. I'm inspired to try this with a stamped image and the oval from the framelits. Now, what am I going to come up with for this challenge?

I think you've hit on something here--Pool Party being the new black!! I do love PP, it's almost as good as Cool Caribbean, and looks swell with almost everything. THIS CARD IS STUNNING....what a gorgeous image. I haven't inked this up with markers yet (no patience) but I almost might be convinced to try after seeing this! Stay warm!
