The Colors of Summer.....PPA206

The colors at Pals Paper Arts this week are so bright and summery! And our summer has started with a bang -  literally!  I have had lots of questions about yesterday's post (read it here) so I thought I would clear a few things up.

Yes our pontoon boat broke down two days in a row and we drifted along until help arrived - thank Heaven for cell phones!  The throttle has been repaired and we have been assured - again - that all is well. Guess we will find out this weekend.  I will be packing extra food and a cell phone charger....just in case......

And yes lightning struck!  My son was cleaning up around the camp and had started a pile of stuff to go to the dump. A storm blew in and lightning struck that pile - note the charred handle on the shovel. It traveled to the window shattering it and leaving the glass a greeny blue color.  It also blew apart a bag of recyclables. The glass bottles were intact but the cans in the bag look like they were peppered by a shotgun.  The circuit breakers blew and the bedroom TV was fried.  But except for one traumatized dog (poor Silas) all is well - we were lucky!

And as for that Stampin' Up! order......I just closed my eyes when the total popped up and hit submit!

I used Sweetie Pie Frames for the sentiment and to frame that cute little flower in the Hello There hostess set.

I reluctantly hit submit as well . . . but don't regret it an ounce now that my order is here.

Love this card and how you combined the two sets. I need to use those clips . . . you have them mastered!

First, beautiful card, Linda! It is so summery and fun! And, I have learned to always have a SU cattie with me on any event, too! I appreciate your wisdom and hope the pontoon holds out! And, so happy no one was hit with that lightning. Egads!
