Say What? FMS282

Ever have one of those days?  Mine started yesterday with a phone call from my mother's assisted living.  I was told my mother was in a bad way and was headed in an ambulance to the ER.  As I am throwing on clothes the health aide is telling me in more detail about her condition and I finally said,

"But I am there every day......I can't believe she deteriorated so fast."

And the aide said, "You are here every day??  Oh wait is this Linda?"

To which I replied "Yes it is."

And she said "Oh I've called the wrong person.....your mother is fine!" and hung up.......

That's one way to jump start your day!

After that call I decided I definitely needed to create something fun!  Cecile designed such a delightful sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches that I just had to make an Easter card for Emma with it.  She's been busy working on a few Easter projects of her own with her pal Corduroy.

And my friends at the Paper Players have an Easter Bunny theme this week!

Well, the card is adorable...I've been wanting to use that sentiment on something, it's so cute! AS is your cute little Emma, with her bunny shirt! BUT THAT PHONE CALL!!! Thank the Lord she recognized her mistake, but gee whizzies!! What a shock!

Oh my goodness, Linda. What a frightening call to get and then luckily it was not for you. Not a good way to start your day. What a cute card for adorable Emma. Hope today is calmer for you!

What an awful mistake for the health aide to make! I'm so glad it wasn't your mum but what a shock it must have been! But those critters are just too cute - especially the center one looking up. Adorable!

I can hardly believe the health aide made such a mistake! No one wants a phone call like that and then to find out it was a wrong number is beyond awful. Amazing you were able to channel your panic and nervousness into a cute card like this. You definitely win the prize this week! Glad your mother is ok!

That's just a terrible story! Fear, relief and perhaps a desire to murder(?) all in the space of a few minutes!! I'm glad you were able to create this charming little card and have a bit of fun!
