I am sure there must be a flower under all this snow just waiting to pop up as we speak - that's what inspired my card today! I love a good snowstorm just like Miss Emma does....
And I don't even mind when I am housebound and the only thing moving in the neighborhood is a snowmachine....
But I draw the line when Mother Nature drops 18 inches of heavy wet widowmaker snow and breaks my beautiful row of bushes along my sun porch! She and I need to have a serious talk!
As you read this we are having a repeat of the storm we had last week.....heavy snow is falling and we will probably have 18-20 inches before it is over. I've been to the grocery store, have three new books and a brand new box of Stampin' Up! supplies arrived last night - I am ready!
My talented friend Jen Mitchell from nearby Massachusetts - who is definitely not happy about today's snowstorm - has a fun sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Join us and make her smile!
I am also linking to The Paper Players Spring Challenge - one can always hope it will be here soon!
Stamp Sets: Meadow Flower (Altenew)
Paper: Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Petal Passion DSP
Die Cuts: Stitched Rectangles (SSS), Love Ya Line Border (Lawn Fawn)

Definitely the sweetest take on Jen's sketch. This little flower is so cute! Your bright die cut sentiment looks fabulous.
Such a cute card! Love the angled sentiment die cut. Brrrr...that just looks so cold! Glad that you're prepared to stay inside and read and create! Sounds like the perfect way to deal with a snowstorm to me. :)
Sweet card and I share your sentiments exactly...the storm is headed to Maine today. I have a new book, groceries and my Stampin' Up! supplies are on the way! : )
This is so sweet with that single bloom poking up! Love the diagonal layout. Stay warm and cozy! Glad you got all your supplies gathered before this snow hit. ❄️
Oh Linda... I hate snow in March and April... yes. we have had it in April, as I'm sure you have, too!
I'll now stop complaining about the little bit that fell in my neck of the woods... and just sit back and ponder how absolutely adorable your card is!
Take care, and don't over do the shoveling! xx

Love this cute card that reminds us spring is on the way. At least we can keep hoping it arrives. So far today's storm is not amounting to much here in northern Delaware. Schools are closed, so not much is moving. It's a good crafting day! It sounds as though you're prepared to entertain yourself for quite a while. Enjoy your box of goodies.
Linda... the layout was perfect for your blooming card! Love it. Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players!
Hope that stamp room stays warm and that no more bushes get damaged (not to mention the power lines). Such a pretty little flower card....spring is on the way!!
Well, the snow is pretty, even if it is mean! And I love your little flower poking up out of the panel on your card too! Perfect for our PP challenge! Stay safe and warm! Read/craft/stamp on!
Linda this is such a cute card. I'm going to CASE for one of my classes... if that's okay. So sweet.
I do NOT envy the snow you are getting and I'm soooo thankful we are only getting 3-7 depending on the area. I just couldn't do that 2 feet thing... heck no! I feel so bad for the entire east coast right now. I'm already mad it may kill my tulips that were popping up... but that is small in comparison the east coast. So sad. Hope they get the power back on soon too. Hugs.
Love the little details you've done on this Linda - enamel dots are always such a gorgeous burst of colour and the blue misting is perfect! Thanks for the lovely welcome!
Love your single flower Linda and the pop of yellow added by it along with your sentiment - there must indeed be a flower or two underneath all that snow, or at least here's hoping! Stay warm and enjoy those books and getting your craft on this week!! Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
This card is so sweet Linda! I love that little flower! Love that sentiment too! You are so positive about the snow! I think I'd be crying!!! Emma and her snowman are so cute!!! Glad she's getting to enjoy all that snow!
Not sure what's cuter, your spring daisy or Emma and her snowman! Cute card...here's hoping flowers are in your future soon!
LOL! My snow storm was nothing compared to yours. I got maybe four inches of heavy, wet snow. That's nothing! I could never live where you do - I'd go out of my mind in very short order! It sure is nice to see your little flower. So symbolic - a little ray of sunshine peeking up from the cold, hard earth. :)
This is such a gorgeous card Linda! The shading you've added to the base of your card really makes your flower pop - so do the colours you've used!
