Fusion: Bee Kind

When I looked at the Fusion challenge yesterday I though uh oh.....I don't have any bees.  So I checked my snippet bowl where three tiny bees were hiding......

They were too tiny for my idea so I scoured retired SU sets and found an old hostess set called Pun Intended that had one big fat bee image!  Score!  But the sentiments didn't work so I hunted for the set that went with the tiny bees - an ancient set from Sunny Studio.  I found it in a bin and it had a cute sentiment that said just bee-cause.......but the word just was missing!

On a shelf behind my desk is a clock with a silver metal casing.  If I find a random clear stamp on the floor or somewhere that it shouldn't be I just stick it to the clock!  My theory is that if I pull out a set with a missing piece I just check the clock!  So I crossed my fingers and checked the clock and sure enough there was the tiniest little stamp that said just!  It has been there so long that I don't even remember putting it there!

And it was smooth sailing from then on - I found a random piece of Hello Honey Ribbon, an inky background from my Distress Ink class, a honeycomb embossed card front and Cinnamon Cider embellishments.  I need to just look around my desk more often!

It is always fun to play at Fusion!  Hope you join us!

Stamp Sets: Pun Intended (SU), Just Bee-cause (Sunny Studio)

I have been searching for the perfect place to put all those random stamps that show up in places where they ought not to be. So now I need a clock! (Seriously, thanks for the great idea)! I'm so happy this little card came together perfectly. I couldn't find one bee in my stash!

Such a delightful card. The colors are so pretty and I like the bee image. - Also enjoyed hearing how this all came about. I too often have missing stamps that I try to put in a specific place to match up if and when I find them missing from a set.
