I was lucky enough to see Wicked long ago on Broadway - yes it was terrific. So when I went with Emma to see the movie recently I wasn’t sure if I would like it as much. But as many of you probably know the movie was incredible and I can’t wait for Part Two! I plan to rent it from Amazon to watch again and try to pick up on the hundreds of little details I am sure I missed the first time around. So perhaps I was thinking of the Wizard’s escape balloon when I designed my card today. I think I will mail it to Emma along with an invite to come over for a movie night on one of these snowy evenings!

Such a cute card! Love the little hot air balloon! Glad that you enjoyed the show and movie...I haven't seen either one yet. :)
I haven't seen Wicked in theater or stage, Linda! But I know two young ladies that enjoyed both tremendously - I can hardly wait for it to hit Netflix!
I would like a ride - can you come pick me up in your beautiful balloon? Emma is going to love your darling card!

Such a lovely card, and a great take on the sketch xxx
Your heart shaped balloon is lots of fun! Cute card for Emma. I haven't seen Wicked, but our granddaughter has. She tells me little bits about it but says, I don't want to spoil it for you gramma!
Fantastic and creative card, Linda!
One morning I woke my early teen daughter up at 4 am and said “you need to get up or we will miss our plane.”!I surprised her and we drove three hours to the airport, flew 90 minutes to Chicago, rode the train to the theater, saw Wicked from the fourth row, ate, and flew back home all in a day. Best trip. And I loved the movie. Bought it when it came out and have watched three times since. I love looking at all the costumes each time. What a fun card for Emma! I absolutely love how you us d the sketch! Brilliant idea and wonderfully inspired!!
