Hello Otter! FMS 524

 

Way too cold for swimming around here but that cute little otter doesn't seem to mind!  I think the cold weather here gave me a brain freeze that affected my design! When I first looked at the sketch  I thought the bottom right element was supposed to be the sentiment. It never even dawned on me until I started to build this post that I may have misinterpreted that!   But we are an easy going bunch at Freshly Made Sketches so feel free to interpret the sketch as you see fit!

Karren Johnson, our oh so talented leader here at Fusion, has added a new element of inspiration this week.  The sketch and the photo are still here but she has included a color palette for further inspiration.  So you can pick and choose whatever works for you.  I am like the guest at the buffet that just can't make of her mind so I pick a bit of this and a bit of that! I found a bird who just happened to be on a branch with two flowers so that worked with the sketch - and the photo! (I did have to add a sentiment block.)  I included a few of the colors and was happy with the results.  So pick whatever makes you happy!

Butterflies, daffodils and sunshine - just a pipe dream around here in the frozen tundra.  My family headed north to see the ice castle in Saranac Lake while I stayed home and watched movies! This week I give two thumbs up to Belfast, House of Gucci, and American Underdog - The Kurt Warner Story.  Meanwhile Emma and Will gave two thumbs up to the  ice castle - in spite of the 6 degree temperature!

Don't worry they weren't out in that temperature for long!  I think the best part of the ice castle visit is the hot chocolate afterwards!

I am still a bit under the weather but also a bit better every day so no complaints.  I am also working very hard to be patient!  No rainbows here though - just snow and ice so I am reading, crafting and napping my days away!  Not a bad gig......
