Farewell to Downton! PP284

I made a tea card today in honor of the final episode of Downton Abbey airing tonight.  I have enjoyed every episode of  that series and hate to see it end!  But in true Downton style I will brew a pot of tea to enjoy during the show and keep a stiff upper lip while saying farewell.....

Edited to add:  A reader pointed out that the finale is next week!  Sorry I was rushing things.....but I will brew that pot of tea anyway and enjoy the Oscars instead!

I love Claire's layered sketch this week at the Paper Players! Have fun with it!

Stamp Sets: SU Sprinkles of Life, Avery Elle Tea Time
Paper:  SU Have A Cuppa
Colors:  Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo

I just got hooked this year on Downton Abbey....Actually, I got hooked on the back episodes leading up to this final season. Hate to see it go, but I must admit this season isn't as stimulating as the previous...but I still watch! So I will join you with a cup of tea for the final episode. Whatever will we do on Sunday evenings, here on forward? Ah! Craftroom calls!

I think the final episode is March 6th. Tonight is a recap. Love the card.

That is a hard core Downton Abbey fan, when you actually brew a pot of tea for watching the show! Last week was possibly the most exciting week of the season. Mary got blasted by Tom and. Edith, and also got reprimanded by her father. Minutes later she was married! LOL hoping Edith's suter comes back as that would be the perfect ending to the series, and everyone lives happily ever after!

Oh yeah, love the card!

Love those sweet little tea cups Linda! Dare I admit to being one of the few in the UK who has never watched a single episode of Downton Abbey??! As for tea - I drink multiple copies of that a day regardless!! Enjoy next week's finale!

Love your cups of tea...and I was disappointed that the finale is next week too....I am sure the OSCARS had something to do with that, LOL! I can barely wait for the ending...bittersweet but greatly anticipated! A perfect creation regardless!

Linda what a nice thought... and beautiful card. I LOVE Downton Abbey too. There are several on PBS that I just love. Are you watching Mercy House which airs right after Downton? Another fav...

Missed all my shows, but I had a blast with the Nancy & Nance & Friends ... so now I'm home to watch everything I taped while on vacation! Hugs.
