Freshly Made Sketches is celebrating 400 Sketches this month and we are going retro a bit for the month of August. This card is based on our very first sketch - which we also used for #100. It is fun to look back at previous designs. I followed the #1 Sketch exactly for a Back to School card. For #100 I used two coffee cups on an anniversary card. And the third time around I definitely loosened things up using clouds and a plane as sketch elements.
Jen Mitchell and I have been on the team since Lesley Croghan developed it with Jen Timko joining just a few sketches later. The two Jens are the backbone of this team and do all of the behind the scenes heavy lifting! Those three very talented ladies are responsible for this challenge taking off ...... and keep it flying high!
I hope you join us as we celebrate this month.....and there just may be some prizes popping up before the month is over!
Stamp Set: Bon Voyage (Lawn Fawn)

Sweet card!! Love the die cuts and your background is perfect. :)
Everything works together beautifully on this pretty card -- from the sky background to the adorable plane. Cute card, Linda!
So happy for you, Linda! That is quite an accomplishment, and I know you've enjoyed every Sketch as much as I've enjoyed every card you've made- and this third time's a charmer, too!!!
Love your little plane - hope the first day of school has a smooth takeoff, and happy landing!

I Googled "How can Linda's card today be any cuter?" Google spun for 15 minutes before "impossible" popped up on my screen. This is such a great card! ♥
Sweet card, Linda. Love that cute little plane for your take on the sketch!
Super cute take on the sketch, Linda! I love how you used your DSP for the background...it's perfect with the adorable plane and fluffy clouds! Love your color palette, too!!!
Oh my gosh, this is just the best card! The airplane and the clouds are fantastic! Hard to believe we've known each other for nearly eight years! And I'm so grateful that we live "close" enough to know each other in real life too! :)
A fun take on the sketch!
Great scene, Linda! Congratulations on 8 years with the Clean Team and thank you for all the inspiration!
