Sending Flowers......FMS428

Our niece - who works for the city of Rochester -  received a wonderful recognition this week.  This was the press release:

March is Women’s History Month and in light of the 200th anniversary of Susan B. Anthony's birth and the centennial of the 19th amendment, Mayor Warren is acknowledging and celebrating the important role women play in shaping our families, city, nation, and the world—especially those who are often overlooked.
Today's exceptional woman of City Hall is Sarah Boyce, Principal Staff Assistant (City Budget Analyst).

Sarah's parents grew up in the town where Susan B. Anthony was born and she was born there as well -  which is kinda cool!  The first thing the Big Guy said was we have to send her flowers. But nope.....everything closed this week so we were out of luck.

So I decided to channel Narelle (one of our FMS team members who makes amazing floral designs) and create a floral card for Sarah.  Sending virtual flowers is the best we can do right now but she will know how proud we are of her!

Amy has a great sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Hope you join us!

Stamps: Happy Birthday To You, Label Me Bold
Paper: Whisper White,  Petal Promenade DSP
Inks: Call Me Clover, Copics

She will LOVE this card, and it will last longer than flowers! Just beautiful, especially with that gorgeous DSP peeking out from behind! Congrats to her for sure!

Anyone can send flowers, but not many have these gorgeous florals painted just for them! So wonderful, Linda... congratulations to Sarah!

Love the pairing of old and new on this card Linda; I'm sure your niece will love it and it will at least last longer than the real thing! So pretty (and very Narelle too!)
