Valentine Wreath...FMS 471

I only make a few Valentines each year and this year I decided to forgo the traditional red and white.  I am hooked on Seaside Spray and Rococo Rose!  We had a fabulous snowstorm this week so I managed to spend a full day cleaning out the craft room and getting organized for 2021 pandemic crafting as I have signed up for a few on line workshops during February and March.  We are in the midst of snow season so you will find me in front of the fireplace or upstairs in my craft room.  I do go out and walk every morning unless it is snowing - which it has been a lot this past week.  On those days shoveling is my exercise.  The Big Guy snowblows and I "clean up the edges" which means I just putter around in the snow for a while. The snowstorm we had yesterday traveled all the way across the country sharing the wealth in so many states!

I took this picture yesterday morning as I was "shoveling" out front.  The top room on the right is my craft room and right underneath that is the living room/fireplace room.  If I could just convince the Big Guy that the living room would be a perfect craft room I would have the best of both worlds!

Karren designed a sweet sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches - hope you join us!

The Paper Players have a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge this week.  I followed the diagonal - diecut, embossing, blue.

Such a sweet card! Love the colors! I agree with you on the craft room...who needs a living room anyway. ;) The snow is pretty...glad that I've mostly been looking at it from the inside! :)

This is such a beautiful card. I really like the muted color choices, and that floral wreath is such a beauty. The woodgrain dry embossing sets everything off beautifully.

These colors are fabulous for a Valentine. So soft and lovely. And I'm so happy to hear how happy the snow makes you. I don't understand it, but I'm happy to hear it! LOL!

Linda, this card is gorgeous. I've never thought of putting these colors together, but they are beautiful. I love the texture from the embossing folder behind that wreath. Stunning, my friend. So glad you joined us at the Paper Players this week.

P.S. I can't understand why you haven't been approved to use the living room as your craft room :-)

Hi, I just found your post and absolutely loved it. I have a small blog as well and would love to recreate this with similar elements and colors with full credit and link attached to you. I only have a few friends and family following but I'm sure they would love to see your design. Thank you and God bless!

Wow Linda, I love your Seaside spray and Rococo Rose color combinations you used for your Valentine's card. It's very inspiring to see something other than the traditional red and white or pink and white. I found the wood embossing folder you used for the background a really fun idea and I was wondering if you could tell me what embossing folder you used for it? I can envision that background would be very versatile for all kinds of cards. Thank you for sharing your card, time and talent.❣️ Linda

Ran across this great card while searching for an anniversary card for my daughter. Can you tell me what die set the heart with love cut out is from?
